Itinerary

DAY 1: Xin chao, Vietnam!

Arrive in Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport and be transferred to your hotel. After the hotel check-in, the rest of the day is up to you. Relax after your flight with a complimentary drink or mingle with the locals to see what the street vendors have to offer.

When the evening ends, get ready savor traditional Hanoi dishes at your warm, welcoming dinner.

If you’re up for the ancient Southern Vietnam life, grab your tickets for one of the two must-see cultural shows: The Quintessence of Tonkin-the spectacular outdoor performance in Da Phuc Village, or My Village in Hanoi Opera House.

DAY 2: Discover the Charming Hanoi

After breakfast, the friendly guide will escort you on an excursion to the ancient attractions of Hanoi Capital. You will start by strolling the serene West Lake while listening to the Lac Long Quan folklore that is connected to the lake’s origin.
Continue to the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple located in the peaceful atmosphere by the watery landscape and green nature.

Marvel at the legacy of historical scholars and poetry at the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam. You will have a lunch break after this stop.
Walk the sacred ground of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and absorb knowledge about the great leader who brought victory to Vietnam’s resistance war.

Hoan Kiem Lake brings you the breathtaking scenery that is perfect for photo hunts. Stop by Ngoc Son Temple along the lakeside and get ready to be amazed at the specimen of the legendary tortoise that used to live in Hoan Kiem Lake.

The Vietnamese “Xich lo”, or cyclo, will take you around the maze of Hanoi Old Quarter, the complex of 36 streets with interesting names originated from the signature product sold at the stalls of each street.

After the exciting cyclo tour, the evening schedule is entirely up to you. Sign up for the popular Hanoi Vespa Adventure and discover this capital city through a whole new perspective.

Or you can sit back at the wooden table of the lovely Egg Coffee shop in the midst of the vibrant Hanoi, and get blown away by the unique flavor of the unique delicacy. This 1940 drink is the harmonic fusion of the egg yolk on the top and hot roasted coffee at the bottom.

For an insight into Hanoi local cuisine, you can participate in the Hanoi Street Food Tour. You will have the chance to taste pho cuon, the spring roll version of the famous original pho, banh cuon with the Vietnamese “Cha lua”, and end the night with a cold fresh beer and catered seafood.

DAY 3: Halong Bay Remarkable Overnight Cruise

You will leave Hanoi early in the morning for Halong Bay to embark your traditional junk. The crew welcomes you with an appetizing lunch buffet. Relax in the private cabin as you cruise through thousands of enormous limestone karsts.

Kayaking is one of the most popular complimentary activities in Halong Bay. Follow the emerald water and get ready to be fascinated by the beautiful lush nature from a closer view. If you’re not into adventurous activities, the sundeck is a great place for sightseeing and photos.

Before dinner time, you can join the cooking class on board to make Vietnamese nem. At night, if the weather is clear, experience the joy of night fishing on deck.

DAY 4: The Rejuvenating Morning in Halong Bay – Depart for Danang

You can join the Tai Chi course on the sundeck to breathe in the refreshing morning air while admiring the picturesque dawn as it unfolds and shines on the mirror-like water. A hearty breakfast will be served in the midst of the breathtaking landscape.

The crew organizes a daily excursion to discover the hidden treasures of Halong Bay. You will have the chance to explore the stalactites that reside deep in the Surprise Cave, or hike the mountain path of Ti Top Island and see the bay from the observation deck located on the summit.

The cruise will end at the pier; then you will leave for the flight to Danang. Arrive at the airport; the private car will escort you to Hoi An. Check in at your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure.

DAY 5: The Hidden Corners of Hoi An Ancient Town

Today’s itinerary will take you around the streets of Hoi An, formerly known as the core trading port crowded with Japanese and Chinese merchants at Thu Bon River.

You will have the chance to observe the entire process of tailor-made silk clothing at the 1996 Thang Loi Silk Company. You can place an order of “Ao Dai”, the iconic Vietnamese dress, made to your preferences and pick it up in just one day.

Stop by a renowned restaurant for a lunch break. Additionally, you can choose to explore My Son Sanctuary, the ruins of the oldest Hindu temple in Vietnam.
Hoi An Street Food Tour is also available if you’d prefer an exclusive culinary experience. Bring your crafting skills to the test at the Lantern Making Class to make your own colorful lantern.

DAY 6: Explore the Tranquil Countryside of Hoi An

The itinerary for today is up to you. The Countryside Bicycle Tour is the highly recommended activity for your unforgettable journey.

The tour involves cycling along the rustic road to reach the Cam Thach Village Farming & Fishing, where you will live a day as a farmer with the friendly natives. Ride the water buffalo to see the countryside from a local spectacle, and try out the crab catching methods at the water coconut forest.

You will have the chance to discover the cemeteries and local historical sites, stopping by the workshop to observe the skillful artisans turn water coconut leaves into amazing accessories. The host will gladly prepare and treat you to a warm meal made of local ingredients before you return to Hoi An.

DAY 7: Luxury Dinner Cruise on Saigon River

Board your flight to Ho Chi Minh City from Danang. Get energized after the flight with the unforgettable Saigon milk coffee.

In the evening, the local guide will take you to well-preserved French-styled attractions. DAY 8: The Ben Tre Village Life – A Day Off in Ho Chi Minh City

Today, you will leave the bustling Ho Chi Minh City and experience life on the Mekong Delta. Embark the privileged Cai Be Princess boat and cruise to Ben Tre, the Land of Coconut. You will have lunch on board, surrounded by the lush nature.

The English-speaking guide will take you to visit the main products of Ben Tre: the coconut candy and the coconut basket workshop. You will have the chance to learn about the unbelievable tale of the Coconut Monk, who is said to have only eaten coconut throughout his entire life.

You will return to Ho Chi Minh City after the excursion ends. Your options to experience the urban nightlife are endless.

DAY 9: Farewell, Vietnam!

You can spend this last day in Vietnam to explore the amazing structure of Cu Chi Tunnels, which is approximately an hour car ride from the city. You can just take time to relax, do any last-minute shopping, or enjoy a cup of Saigon milk coffee before traveling to the airport.
