Itinerary

DAY 1: Xin chao, Vietnam!

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your local guide and driver will greet you with the warmest welcome. You will be transferred to the hotel in the midst of the bustling Ho Chi Minh City.

After the hotel check-in, freshen yourself up with a cup of home-brewed Vietnamese coffee, or mingle with the crowded streets and see what the city has to offer.
At night, a warm, welcoming dinner with all the traditional delicacy will be served at a renowned restaurant. Spend the night at your hotel.

DAY 2: Discover the Elegant Ho Chi Minh City

You will wake up to a delicious plate of “Com Tam”, accompanied by the famous fish sauce. Today’s itinerary will take you on a luxury speedboat to Cu Chi Tunnels, the incredible tunnel network built by the Vietnamese during the war for independence. Lunch will be served after your excursion.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City and walk through the elegant French colonial buildings: the sanctuary of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Saigon Post Office with its distinctive great dome, and the stunning Ho Chi Minh City Hall. Then, discover the well-preserved artifacts at the War Remnant Museum.

At the end of the day, dine with your candlelit dinner surrounding by the lively urban nightlife.

DAY 3: An Insight into Life at the Mekong Delta with the Heritage Cruise

Bid farewell to Ho Chi Minh City and leave for the most anticipated part of your journey: the Mekong Delta cruise.

You will travel to My Tho, located 70 kilometers to the South of the city, to embark your luxury cruise. The staff will help you with the check-in procedure and give you a tour of the impressive private cabin and other convenient facilities.

As the ship set sail on the calming river, sit back and enjoy a lavishing lunch buffet. Afterward, you will have some free time for sightseeing at the balcony, or join the afternoon high tea at the bar on deck with the poetic scenery of the Mekong Delta.

DAY 4: Exploring the Town of Cai Be and Sa Dec

Your day trip will start by visiting Cai Be. Famous for its vibrant floating market offering the best local fruits and goods, the lovely town of Cai Be still preserves traditional arts and agriculture.

The friendly guide will escort you in visiting the workshop to learn more about how the locals maintain their culture. Observe the process of turning rice into various specialties such as rice paste, rice paper or rice wine.

Don’t miss your rare photo ops of the hard-working farmers on the vast green rice fields. Coconut candy is also popular in the industry thanks to the endless palm trees surrounding the town. You will return to the cruise for lunch.

The next destination is Sa Dec, where a traditional sampan is at your service to tour Binh Thanh Island. Upon visiting the village, you can try the manual weaving technique with the guide from the skillful workers. The hospitable natives will tell you incredible histories of the island.

DAY 5: The Sanctuary Land of Chau Doc

Today, you will explore Chau Doc; the pleasant town comprises of the Chinese, Kinh, and Khmer community. Hop on the ‘xe loi,’ a popular local vehicle served as the taxi, and tour the streets, stopping by the family shops along the way.

One of the famous sites in Chau Doc is the market nesting around the temples. Practice your bargaining skills with the friendly vendors for delicious homemade products, especially ones that are made from fish.

Get back on your floating home to enjoy a leisure cruise passing the borders of Cambodia, entering the countryside of Phnom Penh.

The afternoon itinerary is entirely up to you. Step on the sundeck and take unforgettable photos of the picturesque scenery, or just relax with a massage session to relieve the fatigue of our body.

You can also join a cooking class to bring out your inner chef, have a warm chit chat with the captain to hear incredible stories about the river experience, or sample the cocktail at the bar.

DAY 6: The Glorious History of Cambodia

Today, you will bid farewell to the hard-working crew and disembark at the pier to begin your adventures in Cambodia, formerly known as the Paris of the East.

Refresh your energy at the hotel before starting the evening trip. You will travel back in time as you visit the Royal Palace and relive the privileged royalty life. The Silver Pagoda resides in the palace garden, with statues that tell the history of Cambodia.
The Russian Market would make a great lunch rest stop. Don’t hesitate to try the tasty street food, and test your haggling skills with the many goods available. Absorb knowledge about the ancient empires as you observe the well-preserved artifacts in the National Museum.

After that, you will continue to visit the Tuol Sleng Museum, the school that once served as the Security Prison (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979. In the Killing Field, the Khmer Rouge remains crimes against humanity, the stories of countless victims will shiver you to no end.

You will have dinner at the local restaurant. Spend the night at your hotel.

DAY 7: Experience the Night Market in Siem Reap

Be ready to Travel to Siem Reap. The hotel room in Siem Reap will be ready for check-in at 14:00.

DAY 8: The Lost World of Angkor

Feast on the hearty breakfast buffet and get ready to explore the Angkor temple complex.

Immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere at Angkor Thom, the capital of Jayavarman VII’s empire that still maintain the stunning stone structure and carvings. Continue to the Bayon Temples to discover the stone carvings that hide amazing mythological stories.

At Ta Prohm temple, proudly known as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992, you will marvel at the magnificent ruins. Lunch will be served after this stop.

DAY 9: Volunteer at the Local School in Tonle Sap Lake – The Admirable Story of Artisan D’Angkor
