Itinerary

DAY 1: Xin chao, Vietnam!

Arrive at Noi Bai Airport and be transferred to your hotel for check-in at 14:00. Relax after your flight, or explore the colorful artisan from the street vendors. Get ready to savor Hanoi traditional dishes at your cozy, welcoming dinner

The rest of the night is at your leisure. Grab your tickets for one of the two incredible cultural shows: The Quintessence of Tonkin on the magnificent lake in Da Phuc Village, or My Village in Hanoi Opera House.

These phenomenal live performances portrait the artistic aspect of life in ancient Northern villages.

DAY 2: The Cultural Heritage of Hanoi

A warm bowl of “Pho” is the right way to start your first morning in Hanoi. The itinerary for today will take you to the peaceful West Lake. The English-speaking guide will tell you the folklore that came from the lake’s origin.

Continue to the Tran Quoc Pagoda nestle by the side of the West Lake. It is the beating heart of the Buddhism pilgrimage in Northern Vietnam. In the Temple of Literature that dedicated to Confucius, get ready to marvel at the notable literature and poetry. You will then stop for refreshments.

In the evening, you will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of the great leader who guides Vietnam to victory in the war.

Freshen up with the serene atmosphere of Hoan Kiem Lake as you stroll the side to reach Ngoc Son Temple. This temple hosts the specimen of the legendary tortoise that once lived in Hoan Kiem Lake amongst its century-old architecture.

Hop on the Vietnamese cyclo and mingle with the lively traffic on the streets of Hanoi Old Quarter, stopping by local stalls for the signature handmade souvenirs.

DAY 3: Overnight on the Traditional Junk in Halong Bay

After breakfast, you will travel to Halong Bay by an air-conditioned car. Arrive at the pier to embark the traditional junk. Enjoy a luxury lunch buffet as you cruise through outstanding limestone karsts and islets. The crew will prepare your private cabin for relaxation after lunch.

The majestic scenery of thousands of limestone karsts is an exclusive backdrop for your photos in this 1994 UNESCO Heritage Site.

If you’re interested in outdoor activities, step on the boat for a complimentary kayak trip. Imagine paddling on the emerald water and experience the unique aspects of Halong Bay as you float by the enormous islands.

Before dinner time, you will have the chance to participate in the cooking course to make Vietnamese “Nem”. If the night weather conditions are ideal, head to the deck and practice your cuttlefish fishing skills. The junk will spend the night in the midst of the mesmerizing nature.

DAY 4: Discover the Hidden Treasures of Halong Bay – Hoi An at First Glance

Before the sun comes up, you can join the Tai Chi course on deck to immerse in the serene morning air, with the spectacular dawn as your backdrop. Your hearty breakfast is served with premium local seafood.

Additionally, you can go on a day trip to explore the attractions in Halong Bay. Hike through the thrilling Surprise Cave and be astonished by stalactites with various shapes and sizes. Or head to Ti Top Island and follow the rustic trail to the observation deck located on the mountain summit.

Bid farewell to the cruise crew before returning to Hanoi. You will have a lunch break upon arrival. Board your flight to Danang and transfer to Hoi An for the hotel check-in procedure. Relish the local dinner at a cozy restaurant.

DAY 5: An Orientation Walk in Hoi An Ancient Town

Today, you will experience the cultural highlights of Hoi An. Get energized with the breakfast buffet and begin your day trip at Thang Loi Silk. With the passion for the finest art and handicraft, this 1996 company offers the best silk clothing and accessories made by the skillful workers.

You will have the chance to bring home your own Vietnamese iconic “Ao Dai”. The staff will support you in working with every detail for the tailor-made order to suit your preferences.

The evening itinerary will bring you a culinary walking tour. Join the enthusiastic crew as you discover the specialties of street food stalls, wander the lively market, release flower garlands on the peaceful river, and participate in folk games.

At Cho Con market, shop from thousands of authentically crafted souvenirs, apparel, and accessories with a surprisingly low price. The market vendors also sell delicious food that you should never miss.

DAY 6: Explore the French Architecture in Ho Chi Minh City

Travel back to Danang and depart for Ho Chi Minh City from Danang’s Airport. Relax after your trip with a cup of Saigon milk coffee.

The French-styled buildings are still well-preserved in the vibrant urban life.
The local guide will escort you on the walk to the sacred Notre Dame Cathedral, mingle in the bustling Saigon Post Office, visit the charming Ho Chi Minh City Hall dated back in 1975, and travel back in time with the artifacts at the Reunification Palace.

DAY 7: The Tranquil Village Hidden in Coconut Palm Trees

Leaving Ho Chi Minh City, you will take the private car to Mekong pier, then embark your speedboat to Ben Tre. From the boat, you can see the peaceful life of the Mekong Delta inhabitants.

Upon arrival in the Land of the Coconut, you will explore the local village by bike. Stop by the coconut workshop and learn about the process of making coconut candy-the delicious treat with unforgettable flavor.

Following the rustic path, you will visit the artisanal workshop. The local expert will explain the techniques of making coconut baskets. You will be amazed by the tale of The Coconut Monk (Ong Dao Dua), who is said to have only eaten coconut throughout his life. At the end of the trip, you will have lunch in the middle of the poetic fruit orchard.

You will be transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner and spend the night at your hotel.

DAY 8: Departing to Siem Reap

To experience the best of Southern Vietnam, you can go on a day trip to Cu Chi and explore the magnificent underground tunnels that were used as the Vietnamese military base in the war for independence.

Travel to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Cambodia welcomes you with a warm dinner accompanied by the Apsara Dance Show. It is the traditional dance preserved for only royalties in the mid-20th century. After dinner, you will head back to the hotel to rest.

DAY 9: The Ancient Temples of Cambodia

The itinerary  today will take you on a temple run adventure in Angkor. Starts from Angkor Thom, you will be mesmerized by the mysterious face carvings that stunned archeologists around the world. Next, travel back in time as you walk down the ancient halls of the Bayon Temples.

In Ta Prohm, wander in the famous ruins that come to life from the classic ‘Tomb Raider’ movie. It is the unique sight of lush nature combine with the remaining architecture that made this attraction a UNESCO Heritage Site in 1992. You will have a lunch break after this stop.

Your temple run adventure continues to Angkor Wat, where the temple tops are dazzling in the bright sun. Continue visiting Phnom Bakheng, or Bakheng Hill, in time for the astonishing sunset.

DAY 10: A Leisure Day in Siem Reap

You can choose any activities that suit your preferences on this day. If you’d like to see more of Cambodia architecture, visit the Banteay Srei, the temples proudly known as the jewel of Khmer arts built in the 10th century.

Kulen Waterfall & 1000 Lingas is the ideal destination for photo hunts of the untamed nature. Imagine discovering the wildlife accompanied by the refreshing sound of the waterfall.

DAY 11: Farewell, Cambodia!
