Full day

At 08:00 You can choose your pickup location: your hotel or the Opera House.
The world has known about Vietnam through many perspectives, one of which is the atrocious war for independence. That is why the tour begins with the visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the magnificent marble monument to commemorate Uncle Ho – the leader who has brought peace, independence and unification to the country.

Experience the historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s simple life in his workplace. Resume your visit to West Lake, the city’s largest lake, which has about 15 kilometres in circumference, surrounded by luxurious hotels, stylish cafe shops and delicious food vendors. By the lake locates the Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam, which oversees the lake in the backdrop. An excellent location for panorama photos!

Lunch will be served with the most locals’ favourite: Bun Cha & Cha ca. Fun fact: this is also a favourite meal of President Obama during his visit to Vietnam.

In the afternoon, visit Temple of Literature, a well-preserved Vietnamese architecture, which is also the first university in the country in 1076. Continue to Hoa Lo Prison Museum, who keeps the thought-provoking and controversial images throughout the French and American wars in this country. One of the famous prisoners here is Senator John McCain, who campaigned for the US Presidency in 2008 against Barack Obama. Continue to explore Hoang Thanh Citadel, the imperial centre of power that holds the country’s ultimate military might over 1000 years.

Enjoy Egg Coffee, a particular Vietnamese way to prepare coffee, then take a delightful ride with Cyclo, a traditional and popular mean of travelling for the Vietnamese people during the old time. The cycle takes you around the Hanoi Old Quarter, a long-standing district whose street layouts and architecture-designed houses preserve the romantic influence of the early French era. You will find a lot of engaging activities for tourists here thanks to plentiful food vendors, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc.

Drop off at your hotel or the Opera House.
