Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to Bangkok - the bustling city in Thailand

After a long way, Bangkok City welcomes you with many specific things of nightlife. You will check-in in the hotel, arrange your luggage and do personal hygiene to shake off the tiring of a long day. Your local meal will be ready on a cruise in Chao Phraya River. It is a chance for you to have dinner with traditional food of Thailand and enjoy the beautiful night scene in the glowing lights of the city.

On the boat riding along the Chao Phraya River, you will have a perfect opportunity to admire the view of Bangkok’s sparkling temples at night. Not only you will enjoy the famous spots, but also take a deep fresh air on a 3-hour boat tour. When arriving at the pier, you will come back to the hotel on a car and have a rest overnight.

Day 02: Exciting Bangkok City Tour

After having breakfast, firstly, you will visit the Wat Traimit, a famous temple in Bangkok. Wat Traimit, the Golden Buddha Temple, has a unique beauty, fascinating history and the largest gold Buddha in the world. You will explore The Golden Buddha, a statue of Buddha sitting with the 3-meter high in gold blocks, weighing 5.5 tons. Local people claim that this massive sculpture represents prosperity and purity as well as strength and power.

Next, the morning trip will also take you to pass through China Town to visit Rattakosin and have lunch here. In the Old City (Rattanakosin), you will find the most beautiful and respectable sights of Bangkok. It is not only a part of the rich past of the kingdom, but also a glittering reality illuminates in every corner.

After lunch, your tour will continue to explore two famous temples in Thailand, Wat Pho, and Wat Benchamabophit. You will visit Wat Pho first, the largest temple in Bangkok. You will have a chance to see 108 scenery with auspicious in Indian and Chinese styles on the statue’s feet. You will admire 1,000 images and statues of Buddha with the gilded body and jade eyes. The second temple you will visit is very unique. Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram will fascinate you with its mixture of European church architecture and stained glass windows and an extraordinary collection of bronze Buddha statues.

After temple tour, because dinner is not included in the evening schedule, you will have free time to enjoy Thai dishes and Bangkok life at night. You will stay the second night in the hotel.

Day 03: Visit legendary River Kwai Bridge and Death Railway

The tour will start as soon as we pick you up at the hotel and depart for Kanchanaburi. Taking to the ancient city of Kanchanaburi, which was under Japanese control throughout World War II, you will learn about the history and culture of Thailand. You will understand the Japanese period through photos and artifacts at the JEATH War Museum and find information about Allied War Cemetery with the downfall of more than 6,000 brave allied troops.

After visiting historic sites along the River Kwai Bridge, you will be board the train of Death Railway. You will enjoy a traditional Thai lunch, chatting with the locals before leaving. With the accompaniment of an English speaking guide, you will have an unforgettable memory in Kanchanaburi, especially if you like Thai history.

The next place to visit is Elephant’s World, the resort for old, weak, sick, and abused elephants. You will join the activities such as planting trees for food or cooking porridge for elephants. Then, you will bathe the elephants on the River Kwai. In the evening, you will have dinner and get a hotel room on the River Kwai to stay.

Day 04: Welcome to Ayutthaya

With a good night sleep in the River Kwai, you will start to have breakfast and prepare to go sightseeing in Ayutthaya. Our car will take you to Hellfire Pass Memorial. At this historic place, you can imagine the harsh life of those who worked here along a 4-kilometer road. Many of the Allied war prisoners and Asian workers died to make the railroads through the mountains under terrible conditions, and the Hellfire Pass Memorial was built to remember that dark times.

On the way, you will pass Suphan Buri – a province in central Thailand to have lunch. After that, you will travel to Ayuttaya and stay in the hotel there. Your tiredness of a long journey in the car will be made up with a delicious meal at the hotel.

Day 05: The road across Ayutthaya

You will have breakfast in Ayutthaya and our car will bring you to Wat Srisanpetch, one of the most popular attractions in Ayutthaya. Wat Srisanpetch was built by King Boromatrailokanat in 1448, located in the old royal palace at that time. You will admire the three Ceylonese-style tower tombs (Sri Lanka) stand together and the Plumeria Rubra bloom all year round.

The next pagoda you will visit is Wat Yai Chai Mongkol on a square base surrounded by four small stupas. It was built in 1357 under the reign of King U Thong. You will discover a combination of architecture including monasteries, tombs, and temples. The largest tomb was built on a high ground with two small tombstones and two huge Buddha statues. You will admire the ruins revealing the brick inside the tower tombs and the Buddha statues stretch straight and are placed on the piece of gold to make the temple more sacred.

The trip will continue to take you to Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a Khmer-style temple, built by King Prasat Thong in 1630 to honor his mother. You will see the 35m high tower with eight chapels around and the statues of Buddha painted vividly in yellow and black color.

Then you keep going to Bang Pa-In by car and board on a cruise for lunch. It’s time for you to explore Chao Phraya River on the way to Bangkok. You will enjoy and feel the peaceful life of the residential area along the banks, see the wooden houses built on the water, feel the taste, image and cuisine of real life. You will arrive in Bangkok in the evening and check-in hotel. You will be free to have dinner and join Bangkok exciting nightlife.

Day 06: Traveling to Siem Reap

You will get up early to have breakfast at the hotel and then go to the airport to catch the flight to Siem Reap. When coming to this old city, you will check-in a new hotel and have dinner with Apsara Dance, a traditional dance of Cambodia.

Day 07: Angkor Temples Tour - the lost world

A good breakfast will give you more energy to go for Angkor Temples Tour. Firstly, you will visit Angkor Thom, the old capital. In this famous attraction, you will be impressed by the outstanding temples and architecture such as the Bayon goddess temple, Baphuon temple, Phnom Bakheng temple on the top of the hill, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Takeo Temple, and five large gates lead into Angkor Thom. These are the most characteristic images of Cambodian tourism.
Then, you will go to Ta Prohm, where nature combined with human works. You will explore a spectacular image with the stone architecture of the temple tangled with the branches and roots of the ancient trees.

After having lunch, you will visit Angkor Wat, the most magnificent temple in the entire vestiges with the main entrance in the direction of the west facing the sunset. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World recognized by UNESCO and the greatest legacy that Khmer people left for posterity.

You will visit Angkor Wat with many interesting things to see. It is a place with 398 rooms, connected by a 1.500m corridor. You will go upstairs to explore five interconnected towers with three floors of architecture, including the highest tower up to 65m and four additional towers 40m. You can go to the path leading to Angkor Wat made of rock boulders 230m long, 10m wide and 5m higher than the lake surface.

ou will have a look around the place with many beautiful pictures of stone carvings such as huge reliefs, columns, doors, ceilings, walls, corridors, balustrades, roofs.
After visiting all the famous temples, you will climb the hill of Phnom Bakheng to watch the beautiful sunset. You will admire Angkor Wat and Siem Reap scene from another angle on the top of the mountain. You will be free to have dinner and come back to your hotel by car to stay another night in Siem Reap.

Day 08: Welcome to Phnom Penh

When finishing breakfast, the car will take you to the bus station to depart for Phnom Penh. On the way, you will stop for lunch and arrive in the city late afternoon. You will check in the hotel, eat dinner and take a rest. If you are still healthy, you can explore the city at night with some suggested places of the hotel receptionist or your tour guide.

Day 09: Phnom Penh City Tour

You will have breakfast at the hotel, then start to visit Phnom Penh city. A city tour takes you to Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and National Museum.

You will visit the Royal Palace of Cambodia, a complex of buildings, where the royal family stay. After that, you will go to Silver Pagoda located in the Royal Palace, and explore the background of more than 5000 impressed pieces of silver. The pagoda plays an important role in preserving Buddhist treasures rather than worshiping.
If you are interested in Khmer art, National Museum – the archaeological and historical museum of Cambodia is waiting for you to explore. You will have an opportunity to see the world’s most extensive collection of Khmer art, archeology, religion and art from the 4th to the 13th centuries.

Around 12:00 pm to 13:00, you will have lunch and join the afternoon tour. You will visit the Toul Sleng Museum. Situated in an old high school, thousands of Cambodians were arrested, forced, tortured and then taken to the Killing Fields for execution. You will bring yourself an accurate portrait of the inferno that prisoners here have experienced. The next place is the Cambodian Killing Fields, where the Khmer Rouge genocide has killed thousands of innocent people.

To get rid of the haunting feeling, you will have a comfortable shopping activity at Russian Market. You will buy many unique products from the market as gifts for families, friends such as silk, silverware, sculptures, wicker baskets, handkerchiefs, handicraft products, fashion accessories. You will be free to have dinner around the market, then go to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 10: Goodbye to Phnom Penh

It is your last tour day. You will have breakfast at the hotel and check out. You will go back to Moc Bai border gate from Phnom Penh, making entry procedures to enter Vietnam. The car takes you to the original appointment. The program ends. We hope to see you again soon in next tours!
